Julie Ann: Toresano had really good food, welcoming and helpful (beyond the call of duty) staff and relaxing surroundings. I felt as if I was an honoured guest at a good friend's house, a good friend who happened to be into romantic interior decor, upbeat music and a superb cook and host!
The best local Spanish tapas restaurant this side of Madrid, the food is superb and service first class. The value is amazing and the choice of tapas excellent. MG
Ideally located on St. John's popular Boundary Road, Toresano is a must try for an authentic Spanish dining experience. Known for bringing a taste of home to Spanish ex-pats abroad, this bewitching restaurant offers an amazing array of tapas, perfect paella, and extraordinary entrees. Toresano's flavoursome Steak Antonio and rack of lamb are the stuff that seasoned carnivores thought they could dream of. For those with a sweet tooth, you'll find their Tarta de Santiago, an almond tart, simply divine - but you might be hard pressed to find it served anywhere else outside of Spain. This food is the real deal. A perfect locale for a romantic dinner or special lunch, Toresano brings bona fide Spanish charm to Northwest London.

Excellent food, friendly efficient staff, one of the best restaurants in London.
What a lovely restaurant 22nd August 2008 0 found this helpful This restaurant is certainly small but is most certainly perfectly formed. To be honest I cannot fault anything. The service was great, I think we were served by everyone who was working that evening and we were coached in Spanish pronunciation! The menu made it difficult to make a choice although my other half had his heart set on paella so it was paella for two after some delicious starters of typical Spanish fare – tortilla, aubergines and some glorious patatas bravas. Dessert was a lovely almond cake (him) and coconut ice cream (me). |
